Open for Meritorious Offerings

随喜供养

With great compassion, dedicate merit and benefit all beings.

Support ongoing spiritual practices and the well-being of all beings through voluntary offerings.

Giving with a willing heart

Meritorious offerings are a voluntary expression of generosity. In Buddhist practice, giving helps cultivate an open heart, appreciation and care for others. An offering can be modest and still carry a sincere intention.

The meaning of 随喜供养

随喜 includes the joy of recognising and supporting goodness. 供养 expresses respectful giving. Together, they describe participation that comes willingly, according to one’s circumstances, with appreciation for the practice being supported.

At GSLC, this offering is a way to support ongoing spiritual practices. It is presented separately from the ceremony catalogue so that families can understand it as voluntary participation.

Giving and dedicating

A gift may be made in gratitude, in remembrance of a loved one or with a wider wish to benefit others. Taking a moment to form that intention can make giving a reflective practice. The emphasis is on generosity within one’s means and the willingness to share.

Understanding your offering

Before contributing, ask GSLC about the available offering methods, what your contribution supports and whether a personal dedication can be included. Confirm any receipt arrangements directly. Choose an amount or form of support that is comfortable for you and your family.
